Room Eighteen @ Berjaya Times Square, KL

A recently open Chinese restaurant over at Berjaya Times Square in Kuala Lumpur. Just located at the ground floor next to Guardian Pharmacy. Seems like a nice restaurant that knows its food cuisine. Almost dinner time, guess its a good place to try out the food. Later found out its actually a subsidiary of the famous Oriental restaurant Tai Thong.

The restaurant was having a promo package set. The promotion set that we took was the Wanton Noodle Soup as the main course, a small cup of coca-cola, a small cup of black herbal jelly as dessert and a small bowl of soak peanuts as tidbits.

Another order of fresh orange juice, to quench my thirst after long hot walk around the shopping mall. While to fill up my hunger, I tried the sweet braised meat with oily rice (char siew rice).

I would really recommend everyone to try the wanton noodles as its smooth and delicious! I'm very sure that they make the noodles themselves. Not forgetting the wanton, its big and very fulfilling.

Papa Johns @ IOI Shopping Mall, Puchong

Lots of new shops are opening at the new wing of IOI Shopping Mall in Puchong. More ample car parks available at the underground parking, as well as the upper rooftop parking.

Lunch time is near and we opt to taste something new from the new wing area. Lots of variety, but the regular well-known are TGIF, Sakae Sushi(now will have a heat competition with sushi king at the old wing), Nandos (competition with Kenny Rogers' roasters), etc.

Seeing a new outlet open. Its called Papa Johns' Pizza. Thought of giving it a taste and review. Ordered the value meal package for 2. Consist of 2 beverage (coca-cola) glasses, 6 pieces of Bread sticks and a 9' (inch) original pizza. We chose the Fisherman's cove pizza. Since we have been eating chicken for 3 days in a row.. thought trying out the seafood for a change. We added a side order of Cheese sticks.

The bread sticks, are served with a tomato paste. And they also give a small plate of melted butter. It goes well with the pizza.

The cheese sticks are actually a small pizza filled with melted cheese topping.

The pizza comes with 2 pickled pepper chili. I think its sort of an appetizer.

Overall, a good pizza to eat. My next try would be to taste the thin crust pizza.

Tenji Japanese Buffet @ SoHoKL

Here is another Japanese Buffet restaurant review. This restaurant has already been around and reviewed by lots of people for their freshness in seafood and also its creativity. My friends and I have the opportunity to visit and try out the food as well. The restaurant opens at 11.30am and closes for its morning/afternoon at 3.00pm. At the time we ate; the offer was at RM 77++ per person.

Even if you are not use to eating raw seafood, there are variety of cooked and fried dishes to choose from. Japanese pizza and spaghetti are also available. Since I am a sashimi lover, it is a definitely for me to feast on these fresh food. I do wish to comment however that the soyu or soy sauce is a little bit too salty compared to the usual sushi restaurants. Their wasabi is placed in small packaging but surprisingly its still fresh and tasty.

The oyster are also very fresh and very tasty. Do not forget to drink the freshly made coconut drink as it is healthy especially with nowadays cases of H1N1.

The dessert section is filled with a massive variety of cakes, cookies, sweetness galore and their ice-cream is from the best: Hagen Daaz

Do try out this Tenji Japanese Buffet. Its worth your every bite!
